By accessing or using the services of Green Coast Roofing & Solar (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including but not limited to our website at https://gogreencoast.com, requesting estimates, scheduling consultations, entering into contracts, or engaging with our communications, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Green Coast Roofing & Solar.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services or engage with our communications. Your continued use of our services after any modifications to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of such modifications.

4. COMMUNICATION CONSENT AND SMS MESSAGING TERMS

4.1 Express Consent for Communications
By submitting any form, requesting services, or providing your contact information to Green Coast Roofing & Solar, you expressly authorize us to reach out to you via call, email, or text message for information about appointment setting, marketing, project updates, service reminders, and any other business-related communications. This consent applies to the telephone number and email address you provide, whether or not such number is listed on any Do Not Call registry.

Message Frequency: Messaging frequency varies based on your project needs and may include appointment confirmations, project updates, promotional offers, and service reminders. You may receive up to messages per month, though frequency may vary based on your specific project requirements and communications preferences.

Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply to all SMS communications. These charges are determined by your mobile carrier and are not controlled by Green Coast Roofing & Solar. You are responsible for all charges incurred.

Supported Carriers: Our SMS service is available on major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Service may not be available on all carriers or in all areas.

4.3 Opt-Out Procedures
You may choose to stop receiving promotional text messages from Green Coast Roofing & Solar at any time. To opt out, simply reply to any text message you receive from us with the word “STOP,” “UNSUBSCRIBE,” “CANCEL,” or “QUIT.” Once we receive your opt-out request, we will promptly remove your number from our promotional messaging list within hours.

Green Coast Roofing & Solar complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all applicable federal and state regulations regarding automated communications. 5. ESTIMATES AND CONSULTATIONS

5.1 Free Inspections and Estimates
Green Coast Roofing & Solar provides free inspections and estimates for roofing services. These inspections are visual assessments designed to identify obvious damage or maintenance needs. Free estimates are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute a warranty or guarantee of the condition of your roof or property.

5.2 Estimate Validity
Written estimates are valid for days from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified. Prices may be subject to change due to material cost fluctuations, scope changes, or unforeseen conditions discovered during the project.

5.3 Virtual and In-Person Consultations
We offer both virtual and in-person consultation capabilities. Virtual consultations may be conducted via video conferencing, phone calls, or digital photo assessments. While we strive for accuracy in virtual assessments, final project scope and pricing may require inperson verification.

6.CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS

6.1 Written Contracts Required
All projects exceeding $, in value require a written contract signed by both parties.
Contracts will include detailed scope of work, materials specifications, project timeline, payment schedule, and warranty information. No work will commence without a signed contract and required permits.

6.2 Paperless Contract Options
Green Coast Roofing & Solar offers paperless contract capabilities, including electronic signatures and digital document management. Electronic signatures are legally binding and equivalent to handwritten signatures under applicable law.

6.3 Contract Modifications
Any changes to the original contract scope, materials, or pricing must be documented in writing through a change order signed by both parties. Verbal agreements for changes will not be honored.

6.4 Permits and Approvals
All necessary permits must be obtained and approved before construction begins. It is illegal to begin construction on any project before receiving permission from the local building department. Green Coast Roofing & Solar will assist in obtaining required permits, and permit costs are typically included in project pricing unless otherwise specified.

7. PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

7.1 Payment Schedule
Payment schedules will be clearly outlined in each contract and must comply with Florida home improvement contractor laws. Customers may not be required to pay for work not performed or materials not yet delivered, except for the initial deposit.

7.2 Deposit Requirements
Initial deposits may not exceed $1,000 or 10% of the total contract price, whichever is less, in accordance with Florida law. Deposits are required to secure project scheduling and initial material orders.

7.3 Progress Payments
Progress payments will be tied to specific project milestones and completion of work phases. Payment requests will include documentation of completed work and materials delivered to the job site.

7.4 Final Payment
Final payment is due upon project completion and customer acceptance, typically withinc days of substantial completion. A small retention amount may be held for warranty purposes as specified in the contract.

7.5 Insurance Claims
For insurance-related projects, Green Coast Roofing & Solar will work directly with insurance companies to facilitate claim processing. We provide detailed documentation, photos, and estimates to support insurance claims. Customers remain responsible for deductibles and any amounts not covered by insurance.

7.6 Financing Options
We may offer financing options for qualified customers through third-party lenders.
Financing terms, interest rates, and approval are subject to credit qualification and lender requirements. Financing agreements are separate from construction contracts.

8. WARRANTIES AND GUARANTEES

8.1 Workmanship Warranties
Green Coast Roofing & Solar provides the following workmanship warranties:
  • Metal and Tile Roofs: years from completion date
  • Shingle Roofs: years from completion date
  • Solar Installations: As specified in individual contracts

8.2 Material Warranties
Material warranties are provided by manufacturers and vary by product. We will provide all applicable manufacturer warranty documentation upon project completion. Material warranties are in addition to our workmanship warranties.

8.3 Warranty Coverage
Our workmanship warranties cover defects in installation and construction methods. Warranties do not cover damage from acts of nature, normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or modifications made by others.

8.4 Warranty Claims
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period. We will inspect reported issues and make necessary repairs at no charge if covered under warranty terms.

9. SOLAR-SPECIFIC TERMS

9.1 Solar System Design and Installation
Solar installations are designed based on site conditions, energy usage patterns, and local utility requirements. System performance estimates are based on industry-standard calculations but actual performance may vary due to weather, shading, and other factors.

9.1 Utility Interconnection
Solar installations require utility company approval and interconnection. We will assist with interconnection applications, but approval timing is controlled by the utility company. Project completion may be delayed pending utility approval.

9.3 Solar Incentives and Tax Credits
Customers are responsible for researching and claiming available solar incentives and tax credits. We provide information about available programs but do not guarantee eligibility or amounts. Tax implications should be discussed with qualified tax professionals.

9.4 System Monitoring and Maintenance
Solar systems include monitoring capabilities to track performance. Regular maintenance is recommended to ensure optimal performance. Maintenance requirements and recommendations will be provided upon system completion.

10. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

10.1 Company Insurance Coverage
Green Coast Roofing & Solar maintains comprehensive insurance coverage including:
  • General liability insurance
  • Workers’ compensation insurance
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Bonding as required by law

Insurance certificates are available upon request and will be provided to customers when required.

10.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Green Coast Roofing & Solar’s total liability for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10.3 Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
  • Providing accurate information about property conditions
  • Ensuring access to work areas
  • Protecting personal property during construction
  • Maintaining homeowner’s insurance coverage
  • Notifying us of any safety concerns or hazardous conditions

10.4 Property Damage Protection
We take reasonable precautions to protect customer property during construction.
However, customers should remove or protect valuable items in work areas. Any preexisting damage should be documented before work begins.

10.5 Third-Party Claims
Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Green Coast Roofing & Solar from claims arising from customer’s failure to obtain necessary permissions, violations of homeowner association rules, or undisclosed property conditions.

11. FORCE MAJEURE AND DELAYS

11.1 Uncontrollable Circumstances
Green Coast Roofing & Solar shall not be liable for delays or inability to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Government actions or regulations
  • Material shortages or supply chain disruptions
  • Labor disputes
  • Utility company delays
  • Permit approval delays


11.2 Weather-Related Delays
Roofing and construction work is weather-dependent. Work may be suspended during unsafe weather conditions including high winds, rain, or extreme temperatures. Project timelines will be adjusted accordingly.

11.3 Permit and Inspection Delays
Project timelines are subject to permit approval and inspection scheduling by local
authorities. We will make reasonable efforts to expedite these processes but cannot guarantee timing.

12. CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION

12.1 Customer Right to Cancel
Florida law provides customers with certain cancellation rights for home improvement contracts. Specific cancellation terms will be outlined in individual contracts and may include a cooling-off period for certain types of agreements.

12.2 Cancellation by Company
Green Coast Roofing & Solar reserves the right to cancel contracts in cases of:
  • Customer breach of contract terms
  • Unsafe working conditions
  • Failure to obtain necessary permits
  • Non-payment according to contract terms


12.3 Cancellation Procedures
Contract cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation terms, including any applicable fees or refunds, will be handled according to the specific contract terms and applicable law.

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

13.1 Company Materials
All designs, plans, specifications, and other materials created by Green Coast Roofing & Solar remain our intellectual property unless specifically transferred in writing. Customers receive a license to use these materials for the specific project.

13.2 Customer Materials
Customers retain ownership of any materials, plans, or specifications they provide to us. We will use such materials solely for the contracted project.

13.4 Photography and Marketing
Green Coast Roofing & Solar may photograph completed projects for marketing and portfolio purposes. We will obtain customer consent before using project photos in marketing materials.

14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

14.1 Informal Resolution
We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any concerns or disputes. Many issues can be resolved through direct communication with our management team.

14.2 Mediation
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes may be submitted to binding mediation through a mutually agreed-upon mediator or mediation service.

14.3 Arbitration
For disputes exceeding $,, either party may elect binding arbitration in accordance
with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration will be conducted in Lee County, Florida.

14.4 Legal Action
Any legal action must be filed within two years of the date the cause of action arose. Legal proceedings will be conducted in the appropriate courts of Lee County, Florida.

15. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

15.1 Applicable Law
These Terms and all related agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15.2 Jurisdiction and Venue
Any legal proceedings arising from these Terms or our services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Lee County, Florida. Both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

15.3 Compliance with Local Laws
All work performed by Green Coast Roofing & Solar will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and building codes in effect at the time of construction.

16. GENERAL PROVISIONS

16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any signed contracts and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements relating to the subject matter.

16.2 Modifications
These Terms may be modified only by written agreement signed by both parties, except that Green Coast Roofing & Solar may update these Terms by posting revised terms on our website with days’ notice.

16.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Invalid provisions will be replaced with enforceable provisions that most closely reflect the original intent.

16.4 Waiver
No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed or shall constitute a waiver of any other provision. No waiver shall be effective unless in writing and signed by the party against whom it is asserted.

16.5 Assignment
Customers may not assign their rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. Green Coast Roofing & Solar may assign these Terms in connection with a sale of business or assets.

16.6 Survival
Provisions relating to liability limitations, warranties, indemnification, and dispute
resolution shall survive termination of these Terms.

17. CONSUMER PROTECTION COMPLIANCE

17.1 Florida Home Improvement Contractor Law
Green Coast Roofing & Solar complies with all requirements of Florida’s Home Improvement Contractor Law, including:
  • Proper licensing and registration
  • Required contract disclosures
  • Payment schedule limitations
  • Lien waiver requirements
  • Consumer protection provisions


17.2 Better Business Bureau
We maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and adhere to BBB standards for ethical business practices.

engaging with our communications, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You also acknowledge that you have received a copy of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are effective as of the date first written above and remain in effect until superseded by updated terms.
